Turkish President Erdogan honored with guard of honor at PM House.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan touched down in Pakistan for a two-day official visit and got a warm welcome at the Prime Minister’s House. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and First Lady Emine Erdogan greeted him with a formal salute, and then they played the national anthems of both countries.

PM Shehbaz introduced Erdogan to the members of the federal cabinet, and the Turkish president brought along a delegation that included important ministers, investors, and business leaders. General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, had a meeting with Erdogan, and there was an F-16 flyover to honor him.

So, earlier, President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Shehbaz welcomed Erdogan at Noor Khan Airbase, and he received a 21-gun salute there. He’s visiting to boost the relationship between Pakistan and Türkiye, especially when it comes to working together economically.

Erdogan will also speak at the Pakistan-Türkiye Business and Investment Forum, where business leaders from both countries will be present. The HLSCC, which helps steer cooperation between countries in various areas, last got together in 2020.

Pakistan and Türkiye have a long history of strong connections, and Erdogan’s visit is likely to boost their strategic and economic partnership even more.
