Karachi is set to experience varying weather conditions during Ramadan 2025, with relatively pleasant days expected early on. According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), mild heat will mark daytime, while comfortable nights will be supported by sea breezes.
However, as Ramadan progresses, particularly in its last ten days starting from March 20, temperatures are likely to rise noticeably, leading to warmer conditions across the city.
Currently, Karachi is witnessing a slight intensification of the cold spell. Over the next two days, nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to around 10-12°C. Winds are blowing at roughly 7 kilometers per hour, with 32% humidity. On Monday, the temperature recorded was 13.5°C.
On a national level, the PMD has predicted mostly cold and dry weather except for isolated cases of rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by snowfall in hilly areas like Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Additionally, light fog might temporarily affect northeastern Punjab during the morning.
For Karachi’s residents, Ramadan’s start promises manageable weather, though bracing for rising temperatures in the later stages will be key.
