Interior Minister launches 24/7 passport office at Karachi’s Nadra Mega Centre

On Wednesday, Mohsin Naqvi, the Federal Interior Minister, opened a new passport office at the Nadra Mega Centre in Nazimabad, Karachi.

According to information, the facility will be open seven days a week, with three shifts, allowing citizens to apply for passports whenever they choose.

The unveiling comes after Immigration and Passports Director General Mustafa Jamal Qazi announced plans to open passport offices at Siemens Chowrangi and Nadra mega malls in North Nazimabad in order to ease traffic at the main passport office.

Naqvi checked the passport counters, chatted with employees, and asked guests about their experiences during the inauguration. He was also given an overview of the centre’s activities and the challenges that women going through biometric verification under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) experience. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to resolving public issues and instructed officials to address their problems as soon as possible.
