Imran Khan’s sisters acquitted in Jinnah house attack case

During a hearing at the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court, police declared Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, Imran Khan’s sisters, innocent of any involvement in the Jinnah House attack case.

In the course of their interim bail proceedings concerning the May 9 event, the investigating officer provided conclusions attesting to the completion of the investigation and the innocence of the sisters.

Since they were no longer needed after the police report, the judge denied their requests for temporary bail.

The lawsuit concerns the events of May 9, when attacks on military installations, notably Jinnah House in Lahore, occurred as a result of the rioting that broke out after Imran Khan was arrested. Numerous PTI followers and leaders were linked to the disturbances, and several of the culprits are still facing legal action.

Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan have previously denied any involvement in the incident, claiming they were being unjustly connected to it. Their legal issues related to the Jinnah House attack have ended, and their names have been cleared.
