Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has introduced new, environmentally-friendly measures under the Suthra Punjab Program aimed at improving cleanliness throughout the province.
In her statement, she said that for the first time, large-scale cleaning initiatives are extending to rural areas. Maryam Nawaz also stressed the importance of adopting effective waste disposal practices and called for a reduction in plastic use, which is a major contributor to pollution.
