President Asif Ali Zardari met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Thursday to explore ways to enhance trade and economic collaboration between Pakistan and China through business-to-business (B2B) partnerships and private sector connections. The meeting took place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing as part of President Zardari’s five-day official visit to China.
During the talks, President Zardari emphasized the strong, long-standing “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between the two countries, a relationship nurtured by successive leaders. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further deepening bilateral ties and underscored the enduring nature of the friendship.
The President also highlighted the critical role of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in promoting regional connectivity and economic growth, while expressing gratitude for China’s continued support of Pakistan’s development initiatives.
