Pakistan Travel Mart 2025 brings global tourism leaders together

The Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM) 2025 has kicked off in Islamabad, attracting around 250 companies from 18 countries, making it the country’s largest platform for promoting travel and tourism. This three-day event brings together industry leaders from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, aiming to boost international, regional, and domestic tourism.

Since its inception in 2017, PTM has grown as a hub for networking, knowledge-sharing, and creating business partnerships. This year, it highlights the theme of “bridging cultures and empowering local economies through tourism.” The event features trade exhibitions, business matchmaking, and engaging conferences designed to foster investments and spotlight Pakistan as an attractive tourism destination.

A striking aspect of the 2025 edition is Saudi Arabia’s prominent participation. With a dedicated pavilion, the Kingdom is showcasing its tourism opportunities beyond the traditional pilgrimage routes, reflecting its focus on year-round travel experiences. Over the years, Pakistan’s improved security and relaxed travel restrictions, such as visa-on-arrival policies, have rejuvenated its push as a global destination.

Organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in collaboration with other tourism authorities, PTM doesn’t just focus on tourism promotion but also targets economic growth through cultural exchange and local empowerment. Cultural performances and interactive sessions complement the event’s vibrant atmosphere, elevating it beyond a mere business affair.

The Pakistan Travel Mart 2025 stands as a promising platform for unlocking Pakistan’s tourism potential while connecting the country with the global travel industry.
