Pakistan has expressed profound sorrow over the devastating earthquake in China that has resulted in significant loss of life.
In a statement, the Foreign Office offered condolences to the victims and their families, while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. Pakistan also extended its best wishes for the ongoing relief operations in the affected regions.
The earthquake, which struck parts of China and Nepal earlier today, has claimed at least 53 lives and left numerous others injured. Authorities are also reporting multiple aftershocks in the area.
