TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, known as ‘Naniwala,’ has been released due to lack of evidence.

In a recent development, the Cantt Court in Lahore made headlines by ordering the release of TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, famously known as Nadeem Naniwala. This decision stemmed from allegations concerning the illegal use of a fancy number plate, “IK 804.” The case highlights the ongoing scrutiny of social media personalities in Pakistan and the legal challenges they often face.

The Defence police had apprehended Nadeem on September 24 during a routine vehicle check on Main Boulevard Defence. Upon inspection, officers discovered that the number plate he was displaying was not legally registered, prompting immediate action. The police sought a 14-day judicial remand, arguing that further investigation was necessary. However, the court found no substantial evidence to support the claims against him. In a decisive ruling, the judge stated that there was a lack of recovery statements and evidence, which ultimately led to Nadeem’s discharge from the case.

This incident serves as a reminder of the legal responsibilities that come with public visibility, especially for influencers who attract significant attention online. While Nadeem has faced legal challenges, the court’s ruling emphasizes the importance of due process and evidence in determining guilt or innocence. As social media continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how the legal landscape adapts to address the complexities surrounding digital fame and accountability.
