In a significant operation against terrorism, security forces successfully eliminated eight militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Razmak area of North Waziristan District. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that this operation took place on the night of September 25-26, following intelligence reports regarding the presence of terrorists in the region.
The ISPR indicated that intense gunfire occurred between the security personnel and the militants during the operation, ultimately resulting in the deaths of the eight terrorists. The operation was particularly noteworthy as the deceased militants had been actively engaged in various terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces and the targeting of innocent civilians. Alongside the successful elimination of these threats, security forces also recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the site.
