Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress-National Conference (NC) alliance during a rally in Katra, claiming that their electoral manifesto has garnered approval from Pakistan. He stated that the Shehbaz Sharif government in Pakistan supports this alliance, particularly regarding the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi pointed out that Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had expressed support for the Congress-NC alliance, suggesting their agenda aligns with Pakistan’s interests. He warned that a vote for the Congress would equate to supporting the return of Article 370, which he claimed would lead to renewed violence in the region.
