Hazlewood showcased his skills by taking two wickets in each inning during Australia’s commanding 172-run victory, while Lyon’s exceptional performance resulted in a total of 10 wickets, greatly contributing to Australia’s dominance at the Basin Reserve.
This achievement sees Australia boasting four players positioned among the top 12 in the current Test bowlers rankings. Captain Pat Cummins holds the fifth spot with 811 rating points, while left-arm bowler Mitchell Starc secures the twelfth position, adding to this esteemed quartet.
