Hot and Dry weather, northern regions may experience showers

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts hot and dry weather for most parts of Pakistan in the coming days.

The Islamabad region, along with Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is expected to experience hot and dry conditions.

In contrast, areas such as Chitral, Swat, Dir, Kohistan, Laki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan may see light rain and thunderstorms.

Balochistan is also predicted to remain predominantly hot and dry.

In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, partly cloudy skies are expected, with isolated areas possibly experiencing light rain and thunderstorms.

Yesterday in Karachi, the weather was humid with partly cloudy skies throughout the day. While no significant rainfall is anticipated over the next 24 hours, light drizzle may occur in various parts of the city.

The minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 26.5°C, with a maximum of 33°C expected. Sea breezes are forecasted to blow at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, with high humidity making the temperature feel about 5°C higher than the actual readings.

No heavy rainfall is expected in the next 24 hours, but intermittent drizzle may be seen in some areas.
