Kanwal Ameen, a prominent educationist in Pakistan, formerly served as the vice-chancellor of the University of Education Lahore and was also a professor at the University of Punjab. In addition to her influential career in education, she is the mother of renowned stars Ali Zafar and Danyal Zafar. Kanwal Ameen has made significant contributions to women’s education and was honored with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan for her services.
Recently, Kanwal Ameen appeared on Wasi Shah’s show, where she discussed her life, career, and parenting experiences. She spoke warmly about her son, Ali Zafar, and expressed immense pride in his achievements. However, she also shared a regret about a past event. She recalled that Ali, who was an exceptionally diligent student, received his first major award for securing the top position in 10th grade. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend the award ceremony due to prior commitments, and she still feels she should have been present for that milestone.
Kanwal also highlighted the joy she derives from the strong bond between her three sons. She emphasized that their mutual support for each other’s careers and lives, without any sense of competition, is her greatest source of happiness.
