Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), highlighted the Benazir Nashonuma Programme’s essential role in addressing health and nutrition challenges among the underprivileged.
In a meeting with Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho in Karachi, Khalid emphasized the program’s commitment to enhancing the nutritional health of pregnant women and children under two years old.
During her visit to the BISP office in Karachi, Khalid also called for the development of a pilot project plan to strengthen the handicraft and artisan industries for women. She noted that this skill development initiative would enable deserving individuals to secure future livelihoods.
