Team USA set record as the first nation to Win 100 medals at Paris Olympics

The United States currently leads in both gold and overall medals at the Paris Olympics.

With just three days left in the competition, American athletes have amassed 30 gold medals and 103 total medals.

China is trailing closely with 29 gold medals, while Australia, France, and Great Britain also remain among the top five.

In the women’s 400m hurdles, the U.S. achieved a 1-2 finish, with Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone setting a new world record of 50.37 seconds and Anna Cockrell claiming the silver medal.

Grant Holloway won gold in the men’s 110m hurdles with a time of 12.99 seconds, outpacing fellow American Daniel Roberts.

Tara Davis-Woodhall earned gold in the women’s long jump, while Jasmine Moore secured bronze, finishing behind Germany’s Malaika Mihambo.
