On Monday, Information Minister Atta Tarar emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to fostering strong relationships with all friendly nations, noting that each country holds its own significance and role in Pakistan’s foreign policy.
In his statement, Minister Tarar affirmed that Pakistan is committed to maintaining close, trust-based relationships with all its allies. He stressed that strengthening ties with one country should not come at the expense of relationships with others.
Mr. Tarar explained that every nation has its unique importance in Pakistan’s foreign policy, and the country remains committed to recognizing and valuing each state’s role.
He also clarified recent comments made by the Prime Minister to journalists, explaining that the Prime Minister had indicated that Pakistan’s relations with one country do not negatively impact its relations with others. The minister noted that the Prime Minister’s remarks were specifically about China’s significant support to Pakistan from 2013 to 2018, including assistance with energy crises and investments amidst a challenging security environment.
