On Sunday, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider inaugurated the Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Community Centre in Maryam Nishat Colony, RA Bazaar. The centre was established by Edwin Sohotra, vice-president of the Punjab PPP Minority Wing.
The governor expressed his pleasure at inaugurating the center named after Bilawal Bhutto and praised Edwin Sohotra for his dedication. He highlighted that a true leader works closely with people, and Edwin’s efforts have earned the respect of the entire PPP leadership. The Governor also stated that the Governor House is always open to Christians, commending their patriotism.
“I hope Edwin will run in the general elections. The PPP plans to launch the Benazir Income Support Programme for minorities in this area,” the governor said.
PPP leader Hasan Murtaza also spoke, noting that Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Zardari hold Edwin Sohotra in high regard.
