The government plans to introduce 100 environmentally-friendly buses in Faisalabad, with future expansion to tehsil levels. MNA Chaudhry Shehbaz Babar announced this during a meeting of the Faisalabad District Coordination Committee (DCC). He emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing public services and living standards, starting with the buses operating within the Ring Road limits. The initiative aims to benefit students and industrial workers initially, with plans for broader community access in subsequent phases. Security arrangements for Muharram were also discussed, and the MNA highlighted upcoming public welfare projects, including the establishment of an IT university and a teaching hospital near Sammundri Road.”
