Pat Cummins clinched a spectacular hat-trick, while David Warner smashed a rapid 53 not out as Australia defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs in a rain-interrupted T20 World Cup Super Eight match in Antigua on Thursday.
Australia, aiming to achieve a rare feat of winning the World Test Championship, ODI World Cup, and T20 World Cup titles consecutively, secured the win based on the Duckworth-Lewis method after reaching 100-2 in 11.2 overs when rain interrupted play.
Earlier, Australia restricted Bangladesh to 140-8 in their allotted 20 overs.
