During the session on Monday, members of the Balochistan Assembly urged the federal government to initiate the installation of LPG gas plants to address the gas shortage in the province. MPA Asad Baloch presented a resolution calling for the installation of LPG gas plants in remote areas of Balochistan.
Additionally, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti called for a debate to reach a consensus on appointments in the education department made by Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University. Bugti emphasized the need for setting criteria for appointments to fill vacant positions based on merit and to discourage the practice of selling jobs. The Speaker adjourned the Assembly session until May 23.
