On Monday, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar assumed his new role as head of the National Heritage and Culture Division.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently assigned Tarar the additional portfolio of National Heritage and Culture.
Upon his arrival at the National Heritage and Culture Division, Tarar was welcomed by the Federal Secretary for National Heritage and Culture and other senior officials.
Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Shaheera Shahid and Principal Information Officer Mubashir Hassan were also in attendance. The National Heritage and Culture Secretary provided the minister with a detailed briefing on the division’s operations.
Expressing his sentiments, Tarar stated, “I am proud to have the opportunity to serve Pakistan at both national and international levels.”
He noted that overseeing the National Heritage and Culture Division is both an honor and a challenge.
