PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced that each player of the national team would receive $100,000 if Pakistan wins the upcoming T20 World Cup, set to be held in the US and West Indies from June 1-29.

Naqvi made these statements during his visit to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where the Pakistan squad, led by Babar Azam, began their national camp.

According to the PCB, Naqvi spent two hours with the players, discussing strategy and offering encouragement. He emphasized the importance of playing without pressure and competing vigorously.

Naqvi also expressed high hopes for fast-bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi’s performance in the tournament, urging all players to fulfill the country’s expectations.

During the visit, Naqvi recognized players’ achievements by awarding special shirts to those who reached significant milestones, such as Mohammad Rizwan for completing 3,000 T20 runs and Naseem Shah for taking 100 T20 wickets.

Naqvi hosted a lunch for players and officials at a local hotel later in the day, and Pakistan is gearing up for T20 tours to Ireland and England before the World Cup. All-rounder Imad Wasim emphasized the team’s primary goal of winning the T20 World Cup, expressing confidence in their abilities.
