The military’s media wing announced that security forces eliminated three terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
According to the ISPR, “On May 2, 2024, security forces carried out a joint IBO in Tank District based on intelligence reports indicating the presence of terrorists.”
During the operation, after an intense exchange of gunfire, three terrorists were successfully neutralized. The ISPR identified the terrorists as Azmat alias Azmati, Karamat alias Hanzla, and Rehan.
These terrorists were actively involved in various terrorist activities in the region, including the recent abduction of the District & Sessions Judge of South Waziristan District.
The ISPR emphasized that security forces are committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
