An accountability court in Islamabad has instructed former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi to refrain from making critical remarks against the military and judiciary. The court has also urged the media to avoid amplifying political or provocative statements made by the accused.
In a separate case, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) remarked that the government is employing “pre-partition” security protocols to safeguard confidential documents during the cipher case proceedings.
During the cipher case hearing, IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq observed that the documents date back to the pre-partition era and are being handled according to established security measures. The court adjourned the hearing until April 30 to further examine the case.
