PTI plans nationwide rallies ahead of By-Elections

PTI plans to hold rallies nationwide, focusing on Punjab, before the April 21 by-elections. Imran Khan directed party leaders to revamp activities, with Sher Afzal Marwat leading rallies in Punjab. Gohar criticized the jail’s lack of privacy during a meeting with Imran Khan and announced a rally for judicial independence. Omar Ayub criticized pre-poll rigging by the Punjab government, demanding the Faizabad inquiry report’s release. He also raised concerns about polling station reductions and interference by the CEC. Omar called for a transparent inquiry into the Bahawalnagar clash and challenged Khwaja Asif’s statements. He criticized economic policies and geopolitical stances, emphasizing the rule of law and judicial independence. PTI remains committed to its opposition alliance and seeks a resolution for Balochistan’s grievances, resource utilization, and an end to enforced disappearances.
