The Karachi police have announced a comprehensive traffic plan for the upcoming tri-nation series and ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches. The games are scheduled from February 12–14, February 19–21, and March 1. To manage the flow of vehicles, designated parking areas have been allocated, including the National Coaching Center and China Ground, accessible via Karsaz, Millennium, and New Town routes.
Heavy traffic will be diverted from main roads such as Soharab Goth to NEPA and Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square. Roads leading to the stadium, such as those from Karsaz, Millennium, and Stadium Signal, will remain closed to heavy vehicles.
Adding to the excitement, the newly refurbished National Bank Arena (formerly National Stadium) will host a grand inauguration on February 11. The event will feature musical performances by renowned artists Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahir Ali Bagga, alongside a dazzling fireworks display and light show. The upgrades to the arena, including a rebuilt pavilion and new seating, align with preparations to host the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy from February 19 to March 9.
Cricket fans can expect an unforgettable celebration of the sport with enhanced facilities and a vibrant opening ceremony to mark the occasion.
