Pakistan is in discussions with the IMF for a new multi-billion dollar loan agreement to support its economic reform program. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb stated that the country is nearing the end of a $3 billion loan program with the IMF and is now negotiating a new, larger, and extended program.
