According to the district administration, more than 200 persons, including women, children, and illnesses, have been successfully evacuated from Kurram to Peshawar thus far during the current helicopter evacuation.
Yesterday, three planes were run to help with the evacuation, and vital assistance is still being provided. The administration affirmed that individuals in need continue to receive food and medication without interruption.
Meanwhile, bunkers in Kurram are being demolished as part of a peace deal. 22 bunkers have already been destroyed in different locations, according to officials, and the operation is expected to continue today.
