Russian missiles and drones destroyed a large electricity plant near Kyiv and damaged power facilities in several regions of Ukraine. This attack, more than two years since Russia’s invasion, destroyed the Trypilska coal-powered thermal power plant near the capital. The destruction has significantly impacted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, with some regions experiencing power cuts. Ukraine has warned that it could run out of air defense munitions if the intensity of the strikes continues.
