PTI requests approval for rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on February 8

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formally submitted a request to the authorities for permission to host a public rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on February 8. The application was filed by PTI’s Punjab Chief Organiser, Aliya Hamza, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, seeking official approval for the event.

In the application, PTI outlined its intention to hold the gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan Park, one of Lahore’s most iconic locations. The rally is being organized by a team of PTI leaders, with Aliya Hamza, Ahmed Khan Bhachar, and Ali Ejaz Buttar named as the main organizers for the event.

This rally is expected to be a significant event for PTI, as it comes amid heightened political activity in the country. The party has been actively engaging with supporters, calling for political reforms and showcasing its strength in public demonstrations. PTI’s leadership has been planning a series of such rallies to galvanize public support ahead of upcoming political challenges.

The success of the event will depend on the approval from local authorities and arrangements for security and crowd management. PTI’s request is now under review by the concerned officials, who will assess the feasibility and compliance with local regulations before granting approval.
