Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with an international investors’ delegation in Islamabad, led by American investor Gentry Beach. The discussion centered on Pakistan’s significant investment potential and promising economic opportunities.
The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the delegation’s interest in exploring business prospects in Pakistan. He emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a favorable business environment, ensuring efficient execution, and providing strong institutional support for foreign investors. Highlighting Pakistan’s strategic location, skilled young workforce, and rapidly growing consumer market, he positioned the country as an attractive investment destination.
Gentry Beach recognized Pakistan’s vast economic potential and expressed interest in investing across various sectors, including mining, renewable energy, infrastructure, and technology. He also commended the government’s investor-friendly policies and expressed confidence in Pakistan’s future economic growth.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi. This high-level engagement underscores the government’s proactive efforts to attract foreign direct investment, promote sustainable economic development, and create employment opportunities in Pakistan.
