PM Shehbaz Calls for Urgent Modernization of Federal Healthcare Facilities

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the urgent need for the modernization of federal healthcare facilities to ensure improved medical services for the public. Addressing a meeting on Monday, he highlighted the importance of upgrading existing healthcare infrastructure and integrating advanced technologies to enhance patient care and medical research in government hospitals.

The Prime Minister expressed his concern over the outdated systems and equipment in many federal healthcare institutions, urging officials to prioritize investments in modernizing these facilities. He stressed that improving healthcare services is essential for providing accessible and quality treatment to all citizens, especially those in remote and underserved areas.

Shehbaz Sharif also directed health authorities to adopt global best practices and innovative solutions in healthcare delivery to meet the growing demands of the population. He emphasized that the modernization efforts should align with the government’s commitment to improving the overall health and well-being of the nation.

The Prime Minister’s call for modernization comes at a time when Pakistan’s healthcare sector is grappling with numerous challenges, including a lack of resources, insufficient infrastructure, and a shortage of skilled professionals. His push for reform aims to address these issues and provide citizens with access to state-of-the-art healthcare services.
