Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan has named four additional focal persons for the party, increasing the total to seven. Earlier, there were three focal persons including PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Sher Afzal Marwat, and Umair Khan Niazi. The new appointments include Senator Shibli Faraz, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan, Senator Ali Zafar, and lawyer Intezar Hussain Panjotha. Rumors had circulated regarding the removal of Mr. Marwat from the list, but he refuted them. The PTI clarified that no focal person was removed; instead, four more were added. Meanwhile, PTI’s Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan mentioned that Imran Khan, despite being in Adiala Jail, remained determined. Khan announced plans for a protest campaign against election fraud after Eidul Fitr, with the next protest scheduled for April 12 in Pishin.
