Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has unveiled the “Nigahban Ramazan” package aimed at supporting millions of families during the holy month.
While chairing a meeting to review recommendations for the initiative, the chief minister urged citizens to complete their registration by February 15. She emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency in the distribution process.
Maryam Nawaz reiterated the government’s commitment to assisting disadvantaged families, describing the Nigahban package as their rightful support. She stressed that the distribution should be carried out with dignity and respect, rejecting any methods that force people to wait in long lines.
The chief minister also encouraged administrative and relevant authorities to consider their responsibilities as acts of worship.
To be eligible for the package, citizens must be registered in the Provincial Socio-Economic Survey (PSER). Registration can be done online via the PSER portal or through local union councils. A dedicated helpline has been established to assist applicants.
