The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly cold and dry weather across most regions of the country, with very cold conditions expected in hilly areas over the next 24 hours.
In southern Punjab and upper Sindh, shallow to moderate fog may form during the morning and night.
The synoptic outlook indicates that continental air dominates most areas, while a westerly wave is impacting the western and upper regions of the country.
Over the last 24 hours, cold and partly cloudy weather prevailed in most areas, with rain and snowfall observed in parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and northern Balochistan.
Leh recorded the lowest temperature on Wednesday, plunging to -10°C.
