Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly struggling to cope with the distressing news following fresh allegations made against them.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have consistently displayed a united front to counter relationship rumors, are said to be upset after new claims emerged about them in a prominent magazine.
Kinsey Schofield, speaking on Sky News Australia, shared insights from Los Angeles about how the couple is handling the situation after the Vanity Fair cover story.
The expert expressed the couple’s emotional state, stating: “It’s my understanding that they’re upset over it.”
She also offered details about their current situation in their Montecito home: “I’ve heard things aren’t going well for them right now, with Meghan’s show being postponed, reportedly at Netflix’s suggestion. She’s worked hard to rebrand herself, and now a respected publication is bringing up some of the harshest allegations against her.”
Schofield further commented, “I think they’re hurt and trying to figure out how to move forward. But the public appearance they made amidst the devastating fires didn’t help them. They’re in a tough spot right now.”
According to other sources close to the couple, these recent claims are having a significant impact on them. This comes just weeks after the couple was criticized as “disaster tourists” by actress Justine Bateman and others.
British TV presenter Piers Morgan also took a swipe at Harry following their visit to wildfire victims in Los Angeles, calling it “purely for self-promotion.”
Amid the raging wildfires around Los Angeles, the Sussexes spent just 17 minutes at an evacuation center, which many labeled as a “photo op” with Pasadena’s mayor Victor M. Gordo.
