Security forces killed four terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out in the Spinwam area between the night of January 14 and 15, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was initiated based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. During the engagement, security forces successfully neutralized the militants and recovered a stockpile of weapons and ammunition. The terrorists were reportedly involved in several attacks on security forces and targeted killings of civilians.
A follow-up sanitization operation is ongoing to clear the area of any remaining threats. The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate terrorism from the country.

Six terrorists were killed in Tank district during an IBO, and two more were eliminated in an engagement in the Tirah valley of Khyber district.
Major success in Balochistan: On January 8, security forces conducted a large-scale IBO in Kachhi district, Balochistan, resulting in the death of 27 terrorists. These operations highlight the security forces’ ongoing commitment to ensuring peace and stability throughout the country.
