Atif Aslam launches borderless world to empower young artists

Atif Aslam, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated singers, has unveiled a new music program called Borderless World, aimed at providing a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talents. The initiative, which seeks to support young musicians, directors, videographers, and other creatives, reflects Aslam’s commitment to giving back to the industry.

In a vlog directed by content creator Ukhano, Aslam referenced his favorite actor Denzel Washington’s philosophy, which states, “In the first phase of life you learn, then you earn, and then you return.” Aslam expressed that after years of learning and earning in the music industry, it was now time for him to return by offering guidance and opportunities to the next generation of artists.

Borderless World will consist of multiple seasons, with the first featuring five to six episodes and a mix of both new and old music. Aslam explained that the program would not only focus on music but also provide a platform for lyricists, directors, videographers, and actors. The aim is to connect with talented individuals and bring them into collaborative projects. Aslam is open to anyone with raw talent and encouraged aspiring artists to reach out to him for opportunities.

Aslam shared his excitement about inspiring new musicians and artists, stating that the program would have a significant impact on their careers. He reflected on his own journey, noting that, while he had learned from the legacies of bands like Strings, Vital Signs, and Junoon, he lacked direct mentorship from senior artists. He hopes that Borderless World will provide the support and direction that younger artists need.

The launch event for Borderless World in Lahore was attended by several notable celebrities, including Faris Shafi, Bilal Lashari, Shae Gill, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Naimal Khawar, Saba Qamar, and Mawra Hocane, marking the beginning of what is expected to be an exciting venture for both Aslam and aspiring artists across Pakistan.
