Security forces successfully eliminated eight terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations took place on January 12 and 13 in Tank and Tirah Valley. An intelligence-based operation in Tank district targeted a reported terrorist hideout, resulting in the deaths of six terrorists.
In a separate encounter in the Tirah Valley of Khyber district, security forces neutralized two more terrorists.
Ongoing sanitization operations are being conducted to clear the area of any remaining threats, as Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
A day earlier, security forces killed 27 terrorists in Balochistan’s Kachhi district during an intelligence-based operation targeting a terrorist hideout, ISPR reported.
