Dense fog once again enveloped the plains of Punjab and Sindh during the night between Sunday and Monday, disrupting daily life and causing severe traffic delays.
The thick fog has significantly impacted traffic flow in multiple cities. According to a spokesperson for the Motorway, sections of the M3 motorway from Lahore to Rajana, M4 from Shorkot to Multan, and M5 from Multan to Rohri have been closed to all traffic.
Motorway police have advised drivers to use the Grand Trunk (GT) Road for travel and recommended using fog lights while driving.
Authorities have also urged people to stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel. The dense fog has further caused traffic disruptions at various locations on the National Highway due to reduced visibility.
