Protesters demand the repatriation of the Hindu girl

The Hindu community and traders in Dera Murad Jamali staged a protest against the recent abduction of Priya Kumari, demanding her swift return. Criticizing the Sindh government’s inefficiency in locating Ms. Kumari, who was kidnapped from Sukkur a few days earlier, protesters held placards and chanted slogans denouncing the routine abduction of innocent children in Sindh and the worsening security conditions for religious minorities.

Led by senior Hindu community leaders Mukhi Manak Lal and Seth Tara Chand, the rally attracted participants from various backgrounds. Notable attendees included trader representative Taj Baloch, JI’s youth wing activist Liaqat Ali Chakar, wholesale market president Mir Jan Mengal, Molana Nawabuddin Domki, Khan Jan Bangulazi, and Harpal Das.

They called upon Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to promptly act for Ms. Kumari’s recovery and deliver justice to the minority community. They warned of nationwide protests if their demands were ignored.
