rade experts are optimistic about 2025 after a disappointing end to 2024, with many predicting that War 2 will be the biggest hit of the year. The sequel, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, has generated significant buzz, and analysts are placing their bets on it to dominate the box office.
Taran Adarsh expressed excitement for War 2, stating, “I’m looking forward to War 2. Two actors I highly rate are coming together.” Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is part of the Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, following Pathaan and Tiger. The original War (2019), starring Roshan and Tiger Shroff, was a major hit.
Trade analyst Atul Mohan also mentioned that Chhava, starring Vicky Kaushal, could surprise audiences. He added, “War 2, Chhava, and Sikandar are highly awaited. The teaser for Sikandar is very encouraging.”
Taran Adarsh shared similar sentiments, noting that the positive reception to Sikandar’s teaser, starring Salman Khan and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, had created anticipation. Sikandar also features Rashmika Mandanna and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Distributor Raj Bansal echoed the excitement for War 2, though he felt Sikandar’s teaser was not as impactful. He stated, “It seems like a decent film, but I believe War 2 will be the biggest hit of 2025.”
Despite concerns about a potential decrease in film releases, Atul Mohan remains hopeful, suggesting that the year could see significant box office numbers. Raj Bansal concluded optimistically, “I’m expecting big numbers in 2025.”
