Australian travel youtuber Luke Damant confirmed alive and well

Australian YouTuber Luke Damant Responds to Death Rumors: “I’m Just Chilling”

Reports of Australian travel YouTuber Luke Damant’s death have been greatly exaggerated. In fact, Damant is alive and well, laughing off the fake news surrounding his supposed demise.

Rumors began circulating online, claiming that the YouTuber had passed away in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, after disappearing three weeks ago. Damant, who is known for his travel blog and love for cheese parathas, had last posted from Abbottabad in early December.

In response to the rumors, Damant shared a humorous mock obituary on his social media. The post jokingly claimed that Damant tragically “turned into a cheese paratha” while attempting a Guinness World Record for eating the most cheese parathas in an hour. The post humorously added, “Authorities are still trying to figure out how a man can possibly turn into a cheese paratha.”

Damant also addressed the situation in an Instagram video, saying, “I can’t believe I even have to make this post. Guys, I’m f****ng chilling! For years, I’ve been trying to say that the media fakes f*****g news, and now hundreds of thousands of people think I’m dead in a day.”

He denied any involvement in the rumor and shared his surprise at how quickly it spread. Damant expressed his gratitude for the thousands of supportive messages he received, but had a sharp response for those glad to see him go: “F*** you! I’m back, mother f*****r.”

Finally, he offered a reminder to his followers: “If I go offline for a few weeks or months, that’s just me, we’re alive, and we’re chilling.” As always, he advised people not to believe everything they read online, especially from random YouTube exposés or blog posts.
