Nepra has approved a quarterly tariff adjustment of Rs2.75 per unit for all consumers across Pakistan from April to June, expecting to generate over Rs85 billion in additional revenue. This decision excludes lifeline consumers and follows power distribution companies’ previous request for an additional charge of Rs82 billion over three months. The adjustment aims to address various financial impacts and reduce electricity bills by Rs1.68 per unit compared to the previous month.
