The Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is set to make “important decisions” during its meeting today (Thursday).
Chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the meeting will include military officials, federal ministers, and provincial chief ministers.
Sources indicate that the committee will approve decisions made by the SIFC Executive Committee and outline the future course of action. Additionally, the committee will review a performance report on the SIFC, which will be presented during the meeting.
The participants will also receive a briefing on progress, investments, and newly discovered oil and gas reserves under the SIFC initiative.
Following this, Prime Minister Shehbaz will update attendees on investments from friendly countries and the facilities provided to them in Pakistan.
