Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to make decisions based on consensus during his address to the media on Saturday.
Bilawal highlighted the significance of the public gathering in Larkana, which marked the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto. He reaffirmed the PPP’s dedication to addressing public challenges and called for collaborative efforts from all stakeholders to find solutions.
The PPP chairman emphasized the need for dialogue to address provincial concerns and warned that projects like the construction of new canals could spark controversy without widespread agreement. He used the Kalabagh Dam as an example of a project that became divisive due to insufficient consultation.
Bilawal also reiterated the PPP’s commitment to being a party that prioritizes solving public issues at the national level. He highlighted the importance of high-speed internet for economic growth and warned that restrictions on internet access could hinder foreign investment.
