SC amends stay order on Military Court Verdicts

A six-judge larger bench of the Supreme Court decided to amend its stay order, allowing the announcement of military court verdicts against individuals tried for attacks on military installations since May 9 of the previous year. The bench also sought details on individuals expected to be acquitted. The court emphasized the prompt release of those acquitted, stating that a person sentenced to six months should not remain in custody for a year.
