The Torkham border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan was briefly closed following a clash between Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel. The dispute arose over jurisdiction at the Immigration Section, with FC personnel claiming authority to check documents, while FIA staff disagreed. Thirteen officials were injured in the clash and were taken to a hospital in Landi Kotal. The border reopened for pedestrian traffic after four hours, and all injured individuals are reported to be out of danger.
