The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, and Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq have reiterated their unwavering commitment to advocating for the Kashmir issue on both national and international platforms.
This commitment was made during a meeting between the two leaders in Islamabad, where they discussed the ongoing situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). They assured the people of IIOJK that the residents of Azad Kashmir stand united with them in their fight for self-determination and freedom from Indian occupation.
Both leaders emphasized the urgent need to draw global attention to the human rights violations and atrocities committed by Indian forces in IIOJK. They agreed to mobilize all available resources to amplify the voices of the oppressed Kashmiris and keep the international community informed of their plight.
President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry stressed that the international community has both a moral and legal responsibility to intervene and protect the rights of the Kashmiri people. He called for stronger diplomatic efforts to bring the issue to global forums, such as the United Nations and international human rights organizations.
Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq echoed these views, emphasizing that the struggle for self-determination is a legitimate and just cause that cannot be suppressed by force. He pledged to collaborate with all stakeholders to advance the Kashmir cause and ensure continuous international advocacy.
The leaders reaffirmed their dedication to supporting the people of IIOJK until they achieve freedom and justice.
